Keep all stakeholders in the loop about what's going on in your localization projects! Easily send Phrase notifications to your Slack channels.
Setting up the Slack integration
Simply navigate to the Phrase Integrations sections and click on Configure in order to add Phrase notifications to your Slack channels.
Click on Add Channel and you will be prompted with a Slack authorization view.
Next, you need to grant the Phrase application permission to access your company's Slack workspace. Simply select a Slack channel to which the Phrase notifications should be posted, and click Allow.
Specifying your Phrase projects
Once you have chosen one of your dedicated Slack channels, you can start to specify the Phrase projects from which you want to send notifications to this channel. You can add as many as you want, as long as you have access to them.
Choose between four different frequency options:
- Instant: receive notifications in real-time
- Every 4 hours: let Phrase send you notifications in a batch
- Daily: receive everything you need to know about Phrase jobs relevant to you once a day
- Never: turn the specific notification off and never receive an update in you Slack channel
Using the Slack Integration
Once you've set up at least one dedicated Slack channel and enabled at least one status notification, you will see posts like this in your Slack channel. Simply click on the buttons provided at the end of the notification to be lead directly to the right place in Phrase.
This overview gives you a summary of the Slack channels you're sending Phrase notifications to. The Active notifications column shows you how many events you chose to be triggered. If you see a red exclamation mark, just like on this screenshot, you should double-check if the connection between Phrase and Slack is still active or if your Slack channel was deleted.
What are summary reports?
We continue to improve this feature and will provide you with the possibility to chose a daily summary of all relevant events that happen in Phrase. Since there's a lot going on, you can keep yourself up to date with this digest all of the changes in your Phrase localization projects. If you're interested, simply click the tell me when it's ready button, and we'll be in touch.
How can I remove a channel?
Go to the overview of configured Slack channels, select the More dropdown, and click Remove channel.
